The Management Board for Transport and Agriculture Construction Investment Projects of An Giang province is the investor and operator of the project. Construction has started on November 14, 2023 and completed on August 20, 2024.
Provincial Road 943 is one of the traffic routes that plays a particularly important role in the socio-economic development of Thoai Son district and Long Xuyen quadrangle (An Giang - Kien Giang and Can Tho). This is a vital traffic route connecting Thoai Son rice granary with the two mountainous districts of Tri Ton and Tinh Bien; is the shortest connection route from Thoai Son to the border area./.
